Implantation bleed or start of miscarriage?

I got a BFP five days ago and started spotting the day after I found out. It’s definitely not as heavy as my period and varies between brown discharge, pink blood and then red blood. There’s not enough to soak through a pad but definitely noticeable when wiping. I’m just worried that it’s more bleeding then I always imagined implantation bleeding to be and it seems to have been going on for a while, on the 4th day now! Has anyone experienced anything similar x

Implantation would happen before you get a positive pregnancy test as far as I'm aware (implantation typically takes place between 10 & 14 DPO) so it's unlikely to be implantation bleeding five days after a positive test. Are tests still positive? It could be that you're having a chemical pregnanacy or very early miscarriage. I really hope it's not and that you're okay but you may wish to get checked out by the early pregnancy unit and ask for a blood test to see if your HCg is still rising.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It doesn't sound right, make contact with the early pregnancy clinic to have bloods done, they won't see anything in a scan
