12 DPO spotting, too late to be implantation bleeding?

Hi ladies

This morning I am 12DPO and toilet paper was very light pink when I wiped. My cycles are quite long so AF isn't supposed to be due yet.

Is 12DPO too late for implantation bleeding?

My understanding is that implantation bleeding can actually happen at any point, so it can happen as the embryo nestled in further! That's happened in both of my pregnancies and all was perfect with the first one and all is so far good with the second! Xxx

6 weeks both times! Turned out to be due to some bruising where baby had nestled in that was just coming away xxx

Oh how exciting! 😊 yes my first! I'm finding the waiting quite tough. Tried for about a year thinking I knew when I ovulated and turns out I really didn't! This is only month two of actually tracking with OPKs but I was so sure we got it this time. The TTW is so brutal haha. Did it take you long to conceive? Xx

Also have tested with FRER this morning, faint line but I have had false positives with them in the past so not sure if I can trust it! Xx

Ooh @Lou8788 that's exciting! So I conceived DD first month three years ago but took five months this time and that was five months of properly properly trying with OPKs and doing it loads of nights in a row etc. I really struggled with it all! Really took its toll on us as a couple and the TWW is so tough! X

Aww that's so exciting! Lol I totally know what you mean it really takes the spontaneity out of your sex life 😂 so happy for you. Beautiful family of four! Unfortunately I think AF has just shown her face 😭 my cramps have gotten really bad and I'm starting to really bleed now. I really hope it will be my turn soon!

I'm feeling a bit disillusioned with FRER lately. They've been positive three months in a row but I haven't been pregnant. Maybe just really bad indents showing up straight away 😕 Xx

Sorry to hear that @Lou8788. It's so disappointing seeing her each month! You've not been trying long though so you've no reason to worry ❤️

Previously I always used FRERs but this time switched to clear blue after reading all the terrible indent stories. My friend got some and there were lines on them when she took them out of the box! X
