Kitty337 · 05/11/2021 21:18

Congratulations!!!

faithfulbird20 · 05/11/2021 21:19

I see it too! Congrats! Does this mean you won't have the vaccine? Is it not recommended?

sleepyshiftworker · 05/11/2021 21:24

I don't know what it means. I probably will delay my booster for a few days to think.

My period isn't due until tomorrow. I just had a feeling. Did a test - put it in the bin then just checked it, saw the line - thought I was imagining it and did the second.

This is them now

I can see it too! Congrats!

But please still have your booster! It's so dangerous to get Covid while pregnant but particularly in the third trimester.

It's absolutely recommended but I know at the moment pregnant women are only offered if it they are also part of one of the vulnerable groups. So if you have a slot, take it!

sleepyshiftworker · 05/11/2021 21:27

@BlusteringBoobies absolutely agree. I've had covid but front line hcp do the booster is freely available atm

How to tell my DH?! I'm working all weekend 🥸

Definitely get your booster if you are pregnant. My SIL got covid at 34 weeks and it was very, very serious. She was on a ventilator for 6 weeks, and it's remarkable that she survived it. Covid can be so dangerous for pregnant women.

sleepyshiftworker · 06/11/2021 08:00

Done another this morning and still positive

OP posts:
MichelleScarn · 06/11/2021 21:26

How do you feel?!

obsessedpoas · 06/11/2021 22:00

I really wouldn't have the booster while pregnant And seriously why would you get another injection if the first 2 didn't work 😑 we don't know the long term side effects of this vaccine on pregnant women yet. Please be really sure if you decide to

obsessedpoas · 06/11/2021 22:00

And congratulations of course!

This is nothing but scaremongering.

Hundreds of thousands of pregnant women have had the jabs.

What do you mean the first jabs didn’t work? She’s not dead, or in intensive care, so of course they worked. Hmm

Eh?

Covid can have very very serious consequences for pregnant women AND unborn babies, etc including miscarriage and premature Labour. Don't believe the lies, these things are fact.

Congratulations OP!

crazymuseummum · 07/11/2021 06:44

How are you doing, @sleepyshiftworker? Did you do another test? X

sleepyshiftworker · 07/11/2021 07:03

I will be having the booster tomorrow. I've had covid and it was horrific and ive seen people die infront of me from COVID so.... don't try the anti vaccine stuff with me I'm literally the wrong person but have a lovely day!

I only tested before the booster to be able to make an informed decision.

Ive told my partner. We are in shock tbh.

@sleepyshiftworker congratulations and congratulations again for your booster!

Starcaller · 07/11/2021 09:58

@sleepyshiftworker

Tested again this morning and it's negative
It could just be as it's so early but it could also be a chemical. Test again tomorrow and you should have an answer Thanks
sleepyshiftworker · 07/11/2021 10:01

@Starcaller chemical?

Starcaller · 07/11/2021 10:06

It's when the pregnancy fails shortly after implantation, so you get initial positive tests but then they turn negative and you eventually bleed around your usual period time or a bit later.
