Chemical pregnancy and ovulation

I had a chemical pregnancy this month, bleeding has stopped and now started testing LH using OPK. The results are not positive and I wasn't expecting them to be yet as it's only CD8 and I usually ovulate CD18 but they are a lot darker than they usually are around this time. Everything I have read is people ovulating late after a chemical. What are your experiences ttc after a chemical? Could I ovulate this early. I have put an example of tests, the first photo is last cycle on CD8 and CD9 and second is after a chemical on CD8. Thanks in advance xx

Hi! I had a chemical last month, and then this month I ovulated on CD11, when otherwise it is always CD13. I also googled and found tons of threads about ovulation coming late after a chemical, but not much about it coming early. But I wanted to post to reassure you that it does happen. Smile

@Decaffe that's great thanks. Yeah definitely not positive yet but it's not usually that dark this early, can normally just about see the line! Thanks again and fingers crossed for you x

Hello!

I didn't test ovulation but I had a chemical pregnancy earlier in the year:

BFP - 15th April (I was on the mini pill but had symptoms!)
BFN - 17th April
Bleeding - 18th to 22nd

I'm now 28w3d pregnant so must have conceived in late April/early May latest. Got my BFP on 19th May (didn't went to test too early again!)

It can happen quickly! All the best! X

I had a chemical pregnancy in July last year and got pregnant on the very next cycle. DD is now 5 months. Good luck!

I think I've ovulated early. App says peak was Saturday on CD15. I don't temp or anything (wish I did now) what do you think?

Usually my lows are always 0.2 and peaks are 1.6 and above so I don't even know if I have. Could the results be higher due to the chemical pregnancy?

I have no idea and it's stressing me! Xx

In my TWW now to see if I caught it, but I'd say test most days this month (with eBay cheapies!) to see if you peak again? I've heard a CP makes you more fertile.

It's so frustrating isn't it. Do you think all the positives could be due to the chemical? It's the only thing I can think of. Yeah I think we're just going to keep trying this week and then have a break haha! Good luck to you xx

So frustrating! I'm not 100% sure, I had negative pregnancy tests and negative OPKs at the start of my cycle after the bleeding stopped so I thought any extra hormones had ended? I keep hoping that maybe the OPK's are a sign I'm about to get my BFP, but I really don't know! Really hoping for luck for us both this month!

@GreenFlipFlop it is very faint but it's definitely there, the photos not great. I have no idea as my OPKs got darker and lighter and then darker again so I stopped testing as it was so frustrating and just kept bd'ing , maybe like 9/10 xx
