8 days late and still no hint of AF

So usually my cycle is 28-30 days. I had a funny feeling this cycle so took a test the day AF was a due, which was very negative. Took another test three days later and still negative. I'm now 8 days late and AF hasn't even hinted at showing up. When I've been late previously, I've had spotting before AF eventually reared her ugly head. I'm wondering if it's worth even bothering to test again (as I'm sick of buying tests and then getting a clear negative). Or just chalk it up to my body messing with me. Anyone had any experience of anything similar and got a positive test?

It is possible you ovulated later which caused a longer cycle. Sometimes there's a delay in ovulation due to stress change in diet etc🙂

Have you had the covid vaccine recently? This messed with my cycles both times. If not retest again incase you ovulated later?

@Riversun12345 I haven't no, it could be late ovulation. I haven't had any of my usual week before pms symptoms either. Still wondering whether it's worth testing again today, or counting myself out this month
