Day 37 no period but negative tests

Hi everyone,

I’m having the weirdest cycle this month. Since coming off birth control about a year ago, my cycle gradually stabilised at around 32 days.

This month, my ovulation test has a flashy smiley face much earlier than expected, but then it never fixed as a full smile. I assumed it was just a dodgy test.

Now I’m in day 37, and I still have not had my period. I’ve taken two clear blue tests on the morning of the 32nd and 37th day. Both negative though.

I’m just really worried about my health now!

Our bodies can do strange things sometimes! Could you ask your gp for routine bloods to check everything is as it should be?

I always seem to have one cycle a year where it goes to pot!
Are you stressed or anxious? (Apart from the oblivious of now)

It’s been a pretty stressful month, but I generally feel okay. Work is very busy and we’re relocating to another part of the UK.

It’s a pain, because we have a two week holiday planned that was meant to be perfectly timed!

I am day 37 no period - neg preg test post ovulation tests (both today)

I have been using the clear blue fertility monitor and I had my peak 2 weeks yesterday

I normally have a regular 28/29 day cycle.

Any ideas why I could be positive for ovulation again in the same cycle? I have used two cheap ovulation tests today not the clear blue ones.

How old are you? Could be perimenopause if you're in your 30s.
