TTC after a chemical pregnancy

Currently having a chemical pregnancy. Got bfp for 4 days but the lines are getting fainter. Also went to dr with severe cramps who took bloods and told me pregnancy was failing. AF was due 4 days ago but I've had no bleeding yet just some very very light spotting on the first day I that I got a bfp. Dr said it's fine ttc this cycle and I am just wondering what others experiences are ttc after a cp please? I Will I even get a period/bleed or just ovulate? How long did it take you to ovulate after a cp? Did you use OPK's after cp or do you get inaccurate results due to hcg levels? Thanks in advance x

I had a chemical in July where I bled a bit heavier than a period with some small clots, I ovulated straight after, however, got my period, started trying after that and I'm now 10+4 weeks pregnant

I used OPK's and they worked perfectly for me. You've got this x

@MCMP13 I'm so sorry about you chemical!

I had a chemical last cycle. I had very heavy bleeding with a lot of clots for 2 days that showed up pretty much at the time I expected AF. I also had severe cramps and backache, much worse than I usually get. I really felt sick. After the 2 days it just stopped completely, no more spotting or anything.

This cycle I ovulated about 2-3 days later than expected (counting from the first day of bleeding). I'm in my TWW now, so the verdict is still out on whether this was a successful cycle or not.

I also had a chemical pregnancy last month, got straight back to ttc beginning of October and had a faint BFP on Wednesday. Good luck xx
