18DPO BFN... any late BFPs out there?

Hi gang,

I'm TTC with baby no. 2. DD is 2y 3m old and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant on the second month of trying with her. I didn't test until I was a week late and it was a Clear Blue which read positive immediately.

This time round is taking a lot longer and my bathroom bin is littered with the evidence. I was so convinced I was pregnant this month... I've been feeling dizzy on and off, had an increase in CM, boobs felt a bit fuller etc. Tried both FRERs and cheapies, all BFN with not even a whisper of a line.

I've got two Clear Blue tests left and I'm going to wait until Monday (I'll be 8 days late by then) to test, as I want to try and give myself a bit of time - just in case. Has anyone scored a BFP later after a few BFNs?

Did you get a BFN in the end?

I tested the day my period was due, and a few days later, both BFN. My cycles are irregular, thought no more of it, and then got a BFP 3 weeks after period was due. Looks like I ovulated very late, as in after my period was due!

Congratulations, wow 3 weeks. Looks like I may need to be very patient then. My periods are usually very regular, I'm now 3 days late. I will test again on Saturday.

Did you not go docs for a blood test? Also I have no symptoms other than unusually higher body temp and aches in legs.

On day I tested positive I was able to get an appt for a private scan, they luckily had had a cancellation. Nothing showed on the scan, I went more so because I was really confused. The radiographer said I looked to have ovulated recently and womb lining looked receptive to a pregnancy. They did bloods at the scan as well, and they showed HCG levels consistent with a very early pregnancy. I had another scan a week later, and that showed a pregnancy sac. They said it was about 3 weeks old at that stage.
