Implantation or pre-AF spotting. Any guesses?

I know the only way is to wait and find out. But as I go crazy in the waiting, I'm interested to know your instincts - which do you think it is? Here's the details:

I usually have a 26-29 day cycle, with 10 a day luteal phase. I usually get a day or so of spotting before AF but it warms up to light period flow in about 24 hours.

This month, I started spotting evening of 7dpo. Its been lightly on and off for 48 hours now, only once enough to show on a liner, pale pink when I wipe sometimes and other times nothing there. There was one small red stream yesterday. I'm 9dpo now, so AF due on Sunday.

What do you predict: implantation with a BFP to come in a few days? Or just agonisingly slow build up to AF this month?

Any bets?

I'm in a similar situation today with brown/pink cm and then a bit of slightly heavier a red cm wipe, so I'll bet with fingers crossed it's good new for both of us as I should be 7 or 8 days off AF!

Hi! I had implantation bleed at 7dpo and didn't but bfp until 12 dpo was really faint til 14 dpo. It sounds weird and my partner did not believe me but I just knew it was that! It was literally like a red discharge for only 24 hours and then that was it.good luck!!!

Did you have any cramping at all? Congrats on your bfp, feels a mythical unicorn of a thing to me atm!

Yea felt like I was going to come on but the never did. Also started getting sore bases the day before my bfp and the sore boots is currently the only symptom I have.

I've had spotting before between periods but not for ages and this one seems odd timing. Annoyingly I was visiting family during ov and ran out of ovulation sticks so cdnt track the lh surge so I'm guessing I'm 7dpo, not had a bleed like this and mild cramping before this far before a period. Hope I get my bfp one day if not this cycle!

This happened to me last cycle! I'm usually on a 28-31 day cycle and had red discharge barely enough to fill a pantyliner on CD24 so was hoping it'd be implantation but turned out to be my period :/
The shortest cycle I've ever had.

I am a day late for this cycle and tested 2 days ago but was BFN.

Want to test again today but don't want to get my hopes up as it seems my periods are some what irregular now out of the blue :/

I had implantation with my last pregnancy, I thought I came on my period until (TMI) I went to change the first tampon I put in and there wasn't much blood on it. I didn't have anymore blood after that so I decided to wait 2 days and test and it was positive! I did wonder why my period had started early as I was out and didn't expect it to arrive so I had to buy some sanitary things while I was out, that's how I know it was implantation bleed.

I couldn't wait until Monday and tested earlier today but still getting BFN and still no sign of AF
