When I conceived my son my cycle was 28 days and I got a positive test 10dpo. My cycles are now 33 days and the frer website says I shouldn't test until Friday when I'll be 12dpo. I thought it goes in what dpo you are regardless how long your cycle is, is this wrong?

Frer have simplified things because many women won't know when they are ovulating. Their advice is based on 6 days before period is due (provided fertilised egg has implanted by then, which is unlikely for most). If you know when you've ovulated because you have been testing LH or temp then I'd suggest maybe 10dpo? I've had clear lines by then, although appreciate everyone is different.
