Day 21 bloods, but on day 22?

We started TTC in Sept 2019 and after a MMC last year I've finally almost lost enough weight to have some fertility investigations etc. I've been referred for day 21 and day 1-3 bloods - and I've got an appointment but I've just realised it's supposed to be day 21 bloods if you have a 28 day cycle. I have a 26/27 day cycle so do I need to make another appointment for next month instead, or is the appointment I've got for tomorrow ok?

Should be fine as its just detecting levels and they rise and fall in a steady way so should still be high.

Any idea when you think you ovulate? Ideal is to take this test between 7-9dpo so sounds like you could be 9dpo at CD22 which would be great.

Do you know when you ovulate? Count seven days after that. I have a 28 day cycle but I ovulate on day 13, so I had my ‘day 21’ test on what was actually ‘day 20.’

That said, my GP said if my ‘day 21’ was on a Saturday then it’d be fine to have a Friday appointment, and if it fell on a Sunday, it’d be ok to have a Monday appointment.

I would change the appointment if I were you. Before I realised they just say day 21 to everyone without asking you your cycle length I got totally unhelpful results. When I started getting it right, it all made a lot more sense.
