Is it true you get creamy, lotion-like CM before your BFP?

I am 6dpo and my CM is grainy and stringy.

Google tells me that this means my egg wasn’t fertilised.

Just wondering if it’s true?

I've never really looked for it but I can't say, looking back, I noticed any difference with my 4 pregnancies. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention though....

I guess this would happen before your period even if you wasn't trying?

I've never heard that and I did very serious tracking of CM for years while TTC.

Not sure how much of that is true. I have been googling it too because my CM is different this cycle some sources say watery some says sticky is a sign of pregnancy so who knows.

Never heard of that.

In my successful tww I had no cm whatsoever.

No. My cm is creamy when I'm due my period. The one time I was pregnant it was watery.
