Endometritis pregnancy loss

Hi everyone,
Hopefully someone has a positive story. I have suspected endometritis (not to be mixed up with endometriosis) I lost my first baby in april, I was meant to be 7 weeks, I was bleeding and an early scan shown I was measuring 5+4 weeks. Fast forward to August, I was pregnant again. I had an early reassurance scan booked for when I was 8 weeks, baby was measuring 6 weeks, with abnormally slow heartbeat. Another loss. I am currently waiting for the bleeding to start. Has anyone had endometritis and had a healthy pregnancy? I really am losing hope x

Hi @Jess6784 I'm sorry for your losses ❤️ how have they diagnosed endomitritis? I recently did a biopsy to test for that and infections but was clear. My understanding is if you definitely have it, you can take an course of antibiotics. Sometimes you need to retake the biopsy to check it has cleared.

I was told it was very likely I had it after 4 losses and that was the cause, but when I was tested my results were totally normal.

Hi girl, it's not definitely endometritis it was suggested in my last scan (for my last miscarriage). I've had chlamydia in the past im guessing this is why it's been suggested. I've not even started bleeding from this miscarriage yet x

Hi girls, I came across this post and am very sorry for the losses ye had. I had a stillborn baby at full term and am ttc again. I got a bacterial infection from a membrane sweep that infected my baby 😩 and from what I have researched this bacterial infection can also cause endometrisis after. I was just wondering what the outcome was and if ye had a successful pregnancy?

I am so happy to hear that, many congratulations ❤️😊 and thank you for providing the update , could I ask if you had to have any treatment or anything?

My doctor never confirmed I had endometritis it was suggested because I’d had two miscarriages and a bad case of chlamydia! With this pregnancy I had progesterone so I probably won’t ever know what helped xx
