Why happened to the penguin huddle and it's graduates?

I was hoping to check in on my old friends from the penguin huddle like @lilimum9 @mumlili9 @indreamland @myheartisbrokebutihavesomeglue @avocuddles but can't find any of the threads...

Hi @BunnytheFriendlyDragon it's still limping along but there's only me @Mumlili9 from the older threads still not with babies posting occasionally @InDreamland and @Avocuddles pop back in every so often which is nice. Everyone else who joined has moved on. I think I know who you are, I hope everything is well with you 💕

Hello @BunnytheFriendlyDragon @VenusStarr thanks for the tag.

Bunny have you name changed from Aliceinbunnyland/AliceRR? How are you now? Hope all is well. I think I saw you got your rainbow (sorry if I have mixed you up with someone else).

I do pop onto the Penguin huddle occasionally to see how @VenusStarr and @mumlili9 are getting on as I still feel invested in their TTC journeys given we were all there together. Many of the graduates ended up on the pregnancy board together in 2019/2020 as we had a load of pregnancies from the TTC thread, we then all migrated to a FB page together so are all still in touch (about 20 of us) and follow each other's rainbows growing up. There's been another baby in the group since then and I am also now 37 weeks with baby no.2 (sorry if that's triggering) which is all rather surreal given 2 years ago I never believed I'd even have 1 take home baby ever.

I was right :) @BunnytheFriendlyDragon not good with me sadly. I had a very early loss (my 5th loss) after our first ivf round in June. I've just started therapy for low mood and trauma, we've been ttc 4 years in November. We do have 2 frozen embryos but feeling quite hopeless that it will ever happen now, despite throwing everything at it, I'm on full immune protocols, basically rattle a lot with all the meds. Sorry, not an inspiring update.

@VenusStarr I'm sorry to hear you are struggling. It must be really tough but sounds like you are doing all you can and I really hope it happens for you 💗

@VenusStarr thank you. So sorry you're having such a rough ride at the moment. TTC and loss is so painful, I remember it well, my TTC journey started over 8 years ago so I do understand what a long emotional journey it can be. I really hope you get your rainbow soon.

Just popping on to say what a lovely thread 🙃 So glad I've managed to keep in contact with a few who were on those boards. You get so emotionally invested in other people and their journeys.

I'm here still but my dream has ended menopause got me before I could have my baby. I've not been pregnant since Feb 2020. Glad the rest have been luckier than me.

@Mumlili9 I'm so sorry your dream has ended like this. There are no words. It's just such a shit situation. Sending lots of hugs x

My DS is now 20 months and my eldest is starting school, it's hard knowing that dd2 won't ever get these milestones.

Two and half years since DD2 died and I've been diagnosed with PTSD, there's a 12 month waiting list for therapy so kicking myself that I didn't ask for help sooner.

@Bluebelltulip I'm pleased your DD1 and DS are doing well but sorry to hear you are dealing with PTSD and hope you get some help soon. I think our timings were similar as my DD1 would be about 2.5 now.

@bunnytheFriendlyDragon yes I'm doing well thanks. DD is 21 months tomorrow!

I'll be starting TTC no.2 next month, but am being closely monitored due to RMC and the problems I had with DD's pregnancy and aftermath. Feeling very nervous rather than excited about trying again.
