2nd Covid vaccine has stopped my ovulation!

I'm wondering if anyone can help or if anyone has been through a similar experience. I have recently had my 2nd covid vaccine (Pfizer) on CD 17. I track my cycles through monitoring my BBT and at that point I had not yet ovulated. I'm pretty regular with a cycle that is 28 - 32 days long. My luteal phase is 12 days long. I'm on CD 26 and I still haven't ovulated and my temperature has dropped significantly since having the covid jab. Its averaging around 36.20. I'm absolutely terrified that the vaccine has affected my thyroid function and also affected my menstrual cycle.

I'm taking Agnus castus to encourage ovulation and I have an acupuncture appointment coming up soon (I'm hoping she can work her magic on me).

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I'm sure any vaccine can temporarily disrupt ovulation so I wouldn't worry too much for a couple months until your body gets back to normal.

Agnus castus can mess with your cycles as well if you're otherwise regular. But yeah, many women experienced the same but had a normal cycle after the first messed up one.

Yup, same here. No idea what happened but I got 2 peaks that month, one either side of my vaccine and then my period was a week late! Back to normal the month after.

The jab delayed my ovulation by a week

catinthewindow · 13/09/2021 19:31

Same here - went back to normal though

MiamiBeach104 · 13/09/2021 20:51

Same with me. Delayed for about a wee, back to normal now. I don't think you need to worry

Definitely experiencing the same. Had my vaccine on CD7 and apparently ovulated on CD 25 which is about a week later than usual for me🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm on CD33 but only 8dpo so even though AF should be here, shes not.

I think the vaccine has caused a lot of people to have longer cycles which is highly annoying (but not being ungrateful for the opportunity of having the vaccine! ) it's just because we skipped TTC in July to be able to have the second dose safely.

Hope it all settles back into place for us all! 🤞

Yep, I ovulated on CD25 rather than normal CD15-19. Period was then a week late too. Hopefully back to normal this month!

Hi everyone, i eventually ovulated on CD34! (& breatheeeeee)

The same here. Pfizer completely messed up my menstrual cycle and I didn't ovulate either! I really hope my cycle and ovulation will go back to normal soon!!
