I'm 37 and on cycle 5 of TTC #2, AF was due on Saturday, its not hear even though I've been feeling like it's about to start since last Tues, tested on Friday as going to a function and didn't want to drink if positive, BFN, went out, Saturday no Af, Sunday no Af, today no Af and another negative test. What is going on?! I'm guessing I O'd late but I've not been taking temps so don't know I just feel like I'm going crazy and it's CD32 now

Sorry OP, don’t have anything to say to help, just know you’re in good company as lots of us on here waiting hopefully every month. Hate having to shake it off and try again. Hate how you’re taught to believe it’s so damn easy, when realistically it’s bloody hard x

Thanks it's horrible isn't it just the wait every month, and now I'm just baffled AF still isn't here and I don't know why, I just feel like I NEED to know either way and like I'm in limbo trying not to get my hopes up because of the BFNs but then I'm late so I keep wondering what if I am.

Do you track ovulation? I usually go by CM, but this month, as I had nothing around my usual dates, then started with what looked like ovulation symptoms 5 days after my expected period, I bought some opk and got blazing positive…
Appears we weren’t lucky again, now called gp for a call to see what they suggest. Worries me as we’re 3 years older than when we conceived last time.

Yep I usually temp but DD has been having lots if interupted sleep so haven't been temping as up a few times, but EWCM has been a bit all over the place this month as well it was on
CD 10,13,14,16,18,19,21,25,31
So I just don't know what's going on looking through my last few months EWCM has been CD 9, 10 ,13, 14, 15 or 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 so this month is just weird.

That sounds so frustrating, I’m sorry it’s been such a weird one for you. Hopefully this next cycle is better. Though you’re still in till af shows, so maybe you’ll get your bfp this time. I had 2 really long cycles, last one was 53 days, this one has been 40. Took Seven Seas planning for pregnancy vitamins, the only change I made, so assuming that’s the issue. Have changed to just folic acid & vit D now, hopefully I can get back to my normal 33 days.
It’d only there was some way we could test to see what’s going on - like a’ your period is due in X days’ or you can see why it’s not arrived. Just sat waiting and getting bfp’s is so painful. Last month after the 3rd week of no af I was utterly convinced I was pregnant, lots of symptoms, but absolutely nothing.

Still no AF, trying to just not think about it (very unsuccessfully!) I'm trying to avoid testing know until Friday, I've got loads on at work and I'm really struggling to concentrate as my brain just keeps whiring! Really don't want to do another negative test so hopefully Friday would mean either a BFP or at least being able to tell my brain to stop, that I'm late for some other reason as at 6 days late it would surely be more conclusive. 🤞 this is your cycle.

Urgh that’s such a delay! And really gets your hopes up. I have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻 It’s good work can try take your mind off it.
A little point I’d make,not sure if it’s helpful or not, but when I called my gp surgery at 2 weeks late last cycle the lady said it can take up to 3 weeks to show on a home test - but then everywhere you read details that sounds way out!
Hopefully you get your answers in a few days.

@Miarara I could have written this post! AF was due either Friday or Sunday depending on which app. Negative frer on Monday. Still no AF, but some pinky cm when I wipe today. Really hoping it's a late implantation and not a really weird start to AF (mine normally start full force overnight, 0-60) ill keep my fingers crossed for you too. Also hoping to hold off testing til at least Friday x

Thank you all, AF has just arrived so that's that, googling yesterday I'm wondering if the fact I had covid at the start of August messed with my cycle, although the vaccine didn't affect it at all.
