Came off Cerelle to get pregnant 2 months ago and still not period....

So I came off my pill Cerelle almost 2 months ago to try for a baby. I haven’t had a period yet although 20 days ago I got a bit of spotting which I thought might be implanting but I keep getting negative tests so it was not that. My boobs were horrendously sore and I ended up in hospital with severe abdominal pain and back pain... they did blood tests and said I had an infection. The hospital kept me in over night and gave me some anti biotics and a drip though again a negative test was done.

I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to get my period back? I have counted the 2 days of spotting as a period and I’m using the Flo app.

Could it be anything to do with the covid jab or anything like that? I know it normally takes a while to come back but it’s never taken this long for me to come back on my period. Any insights would be great if that’s ok and I’m also taking a folic acid :)

You just need to relax about it... Not the same I know but my periods took 9 months to reappear after depo and a year till first I had a proper period.
Unless you are desperate for summer baby id be relaxing for a few months

Ah ok I didn’t realise it could take that long. I was told a few weeks and it would come back by a doctor and it didn’t lol 😂 They also said I could get pregnant immediately after I came off the pill. I might ask to see a different doctor but I will also relax :)

You are right in that you can get pregnant immediately once u stop the pill, in theory you could get pregnant while on the pill. But most often it takes some time for your period to return and even when it does it can take anything up to 18 months to get pregnant ( that is considered normal)
