Tell me about your implantation bleeds...

Possibly having one at the mo, 8dpo. Would love to hear about anyone else’s and what they were like, how long they lasted and how soon after you got your bfp...GO! 🙌🏼☺️

I only got implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy. I thought it was my period, and I wasnt actively trying so I wouldn't have known how many dpo. I just remember that it lasted a few days, I wore a pad but didnt bleed much. A few weeks later I thought my period was late and took a test, which was positive. I think I was already 6 weeks pregnant. That was 8 years ago, sorry it's quite vague. Good luck 🤞

Thanks so much @Monicatatie! That’s exactly how it happened for me! Only got one in my first pregnancy 10 years ago, wasn’t trying and thought it was my period so didn’t pay much attention! I’ve had 3 babies since (4 pregnancies) and no implantation bleed. I had red blood yesterday but only a small bit and it stopped, I had a strong feeling it was implantation but after not having it the last 4 pregnancies there was a nightly feeling of doubt, I just got faint positives on two diff internet cheapies so I guess I was right ! 🥰
*also can’t help feeling scared that maybe it wasn’t implantation but a chemical, although 8dpo is probably too early for that

Same as Monicat, only had implantation bleed with my first pregnancy, it was a sort of pinkish tinged jelly consistency, I remember thinking it was weird but thought it was just my period coming in but alas it wasn't. Had another baby and no implantation bleeding with ds2.

I had what I thought was a five day period. Just as heavy as a period, but stopped early. (Usually my periods would last 8 days.)

Didn’t think anything of it. I started taking OPKs cd5 and it came back positive. Thought it unusual, but again thought nothing of it. Five days of positive OPKs and that’s when I thought I’d better take a pregnancy test to be on the safe side. Got my BFP 😊
