I'm trying to conceive. My gynecologist prescribed me clomid 5 -9 cd and progynova 10 - 14 cd

He told me to bd on 15 cd which is 3 days after progynova. Last month I've been told to do the same, was told to do Hormonal blood tests on 15 cd
The results were as follows:
LH was 5.6 MIU/ML
Progesterone was 18.9 ng/ML
Estradiol was 554.5 pg/ml
Follicular Phase was 1.2-12.5 mIU/mL
Luteal Phase was 0.4 - 19 mIU/mL
Ovulatory Phase was 12-82 mIU/mL

Then he said, ovulation will occur and need to bd the same day which is cd 15 to cd 17. But I got my period on 18 cd, which I'm extremely surprised as this circle is 18 which is very short. How's it possible?
I've started to lose hope with this. Please help me if you have tried 5 days clomid and 5 days progynova? He prescribed me progynova to thicken my lining.

Did he scan you? I did a letrozole cycle and my lining was only 4mm on day 9 and my follicles were still small, so he added in progynova until cd24 when I needed to test. I had a scan on cd 13 and my lining was over 7mm and my follicles had responded, no bloods taken. I did a trigger injection on cd14 and the timed sex. It didn't work, but I wonder if the stopping of the progynova affected you?

I've just done a mock cycle in preparation for an ivf transfer, but had a biopsy 5 days after starting progesterone - I was on progynova, stopped the estrogen on the day of the biopsy and came on 2.5 days later.

Your progesterone blood test is interesting, I wonder if you ovulated early as that level, although doesn't confirm ovulation is definitely raised, so could be on its way down. Did you have any signs of ovulation?

My doctor said if I was doing it again, I'd take progynova from cd2 next time. But we've moved onto ivf.

Maybe dtd every 2-3 days from the end of your period, so if you do ovulate early, you're still in with a chance? X

Since I did a myomectomy to remove 3 small fibroids with the same gynecologist to keep the uterus and all 7 months ago, I was on hormonal birth control (Lutenyl) for 3 months during that. Last week he told me my lining can be thin since I'm using clomid. It's my third round of clomid and progynova, I'm on my period, cd 4 and tomorrow will start clomid.
I really don't understand how can he said I will ovulate on cd 15 to cd 17 according to my results then the next day cd 18, my pant filled with blood.
I'm very scared, I use to ovulate well before, he told me my ovaries are perfect during the scan
but I have no idea if I have ovulated for me to bleed on cd 18. I'm scared it might be anovulation. My circle was normal before the progynova. I'm so confused, how can he say I need to bd on cd 15 to cd 17.
