How many times did you DTD to get that BFP?

Cycle number three after a CP the first month then AF on the second. Due to moving house and a poorly one year old home from nursery, we only DTD CD11 and CD12 two days before ovulation (I use OPK's and experienced ovulation cramping).

Is this enough? Interested to know everyone's success stories with only covering a couple of times!!

I've recently miscarried, but that pregnancy came about from having sex on days 8, 10 and 11 (we didn't do it on the day I ovulated, which was day 12). The previous month, we did it every day for 11 days and I didn't get pregnant. It was good fun though.

My GP advised us to do it every 2-3 days throughout my cycle, rather than getting too tied up in OPKs etc, and sperm can keep wriggling around up there for 5 days, so it's definitely possible! Good luck!

First time,twice that month, days 4 and 6. (After 2.5 yrsof trying) Randomly.

Second time, once. No idea on day, wasn't trying.

First baby we DTD regularly for six months. I think I used an ovulation monitor for the last three months.

Second baby was only a couple of months.

3 pregnancies and have looked back on my app to see :-D

1st - 5 days before, 3 days before and 1 day before ovulation
2nd - day before and day of ovulation
3rd - A LOT because I had 11 days of flashing smiley on CB digital! But around ovulation was 3 days before, 2 days before, day before and day of ovulation

Bit of a mixed bag really! x

This pregnancy we only managed once on the morning of my peak OPK day. Shocked to say the least.
