Positive Wilkinson’s test followed by negative clear blue

Hi everyone I’m fairly new here, so I am officially 2 days late for af, I have done a Wilkinson’s test this morning which had a faint positive immediately, I did a clear blue ultra early about an hour later but maybe my wee was diluted I was just wondering if anyone had any pics of their wilkos own tests? You start to google for evaps and false positives and always seem to find a few stories of negative reviews :( I would post a pic of mine if I knew how to ha ha
Any help is greatly appreciated x

Maybe wee diluted with the clear blue early but stark white bfn, that should of said above sorry x

I've always used wilkinsons tests I've never had an evap or false positive. I've had very faint lines early on with them that have not got much darker till I've been about a week late. Congratulations I'd say your pregnant!!

@Patbutchersarrow thank you so much for your reply, I just desperately want to know if I am or not! Did you ever do them when you weren’t pregnant and they where stark white negative?

I didn’t think you could have a false positive as the tests detect the pregnancy hormone. I would say you’re pregnant, congratulations 🥳

Yes I've use them often when ttc the only time I ever had a line was when I was pregnant. This early on I would only test with morning urine as hcg most likely won't be high enough to get a positive if your urine is to diluted, the tests say otherwise but from experience morning urine is best. If you test again in 48 hours you should see it's getting darker. I know it's hard waiting though!!

Thank you so much everyone just so confusing being two days late you think it would show on all tests if it showed on the Wilkinson’s one! I will retest every day until I know for certain ha ha

I've only ever used wilkos and pound shop tests and they have always been accurate except when I've tested far too early!! I've been pregnant 4 times. I'm not sure how you upload a pic but I think if you have only just joined you have to wait 24 hours.

False positives are so much more rare than false negatives. And as you took the second test an hour later, it's entirely possible that you're early enough to not have a high hcg concentration (yet). You said you're overdue, but how many dpo are you?

@Bundaberg84 I have no idea this is the only month I haven’t tracked ov. As I was trying to take a more laid back approach lol, I had ewcm on 8/8 so if I ovulated within 3 days or that I could be anything from 11-14dpo x

Ive always used asda tests & they have never let me down, but ive never had an evap line before? but ive convinced myself im seeing a line that isnt there x

I did! I got a faint positive on a frer this afternoon I will upload pics now I’ve been on 48hrs! Still don’t know what to make of the faint lines with being so late!

The first one is the Wilkinson’s from yesterday second one is a Tesco I took this morning and the one I posted above is the frer from this afternoon xx

Iv just done a Wilkins test it looks just like yours! I’m around 8dpo I did first response with same urine was negative though so now I’m confused.

I came on 7 days late, extremely heavy 14 day period. Hope it’s true for you though @Sun2021 xx
