Has anyone had a false negative on a clear blue digital?

Hey all!
So I haven't really ever had irregular periods.
Me and my partner had sex from the 28th-30th of July which were high chances of me getting pregnant. 5 days after the 28th I had spotting which was strange. (I'm wondering if this was implantation?) I was supposed to get my period on the 15-16th of August and I am now a week late. I had tested multiple times and have had 2 clear blue tests show a very very faint positive line but I've read online it could be an evaporation line. I've also tried 2 digital clear blue tests and they say not pregnant. I've been feeling really off lately, somewhat nauseous. Have gotten really bad acne the last couple days which isnt normal for me either and very tender breasts. I let my OB know and they said to wait a few days and test again. They wouldn't want to see me until I get a positive test forsure. Anyone ever have false negatives on the digital test before?

Hi @valadeezy
First of all, do you track your ovulation with bbt or ovulation kits? Did you do anything different this cycle, for instance getting the Covid jab or new vitamins?
The digital tests aren't very sensitive. That being said, they are very accurate as soon as you are a day late. But maybe you ovulated much later than you thought?

I wouldn’t say I’d had a false negative on a clear blue digital but I have had a negative because I tested too early (2 days before period was due) I then got a positive 2 days later on CBD

That could be. I do not track my ovulation dates, I just know I usually get my period on the same day or two every month. I am going on 9 days late. I feel so nauseous today. Just sick to my stomach. Ive read on other threads of women trying a first response test and getting more accurate results? I think I'm going to give it a try. I haven't done anything new lately either with any sort of new vitamins or getting a COVID jab, so I'm not entirely sure what it could be. I am a 21 year old Female, if that matters at all too.

@valadeezy I'd try an early response test with first pee in the morning. If it's still negative, maybe you want to speak to your GP if you're normally regular?
