13 months now trying for baby 1 - no luck! Anyone else?

Just what it says in the title to be honest! If anyone wants to rant, or share positive stories please do!!

13 months now, decided to get private fertility tests since about month 10. Everything back normal with me and hubby. Had a hycosy this month - absolutely normal!

It's exhausting, right? Just to give you a little bit of hope or silver ligning, one of my best friends tried for exactly two years until her BFP. There was nothing wrong with either of them, it just didn't happen. And then, suddenly, BFP. Good luck on your journey!

Hey. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for you. I'm on month 8 and my hubby is now 42 so if it doesn't happen soon I'm thinking about fertility tests even that seems stressful 🙈

It's so stressful isn't it! I'm in the same boat, not a glimmer of a positive after 18 months. It's so hard to watch time tick by, month after month

Yeah it's tough. Every month I have 2 weeks of hope for them to be dashed and then I feel like I've lost a month of my life 🙈 I need to stop stressing about it.. I know its not helping 🙈

We're on cycle 14 now and I'm finally trying acupuncture! First session tomorrow which falls on what will hopefully be the day I'll get a positive OPK.

Glad your hycosy and other tests are normal but also if you're like me it's so frustrating because then WHY isn't it happening?! Ahhh, I really hope you don't have much longer to wait 🤞 What cycle day are you on? xx

It took me 18months to conceive my first. Hopefully you'll get there soon!

@AKcheer Here's hoping this is the start of THE cycle for you this time! 🤞 I'm CD12, usually get a positive OPK today but it can change so fingers crossed it is!

I'll let you know how acupuncture goes but I've just heard so many positive stories of women getting their BFP after it that we thought we have nothing to lose by trying it for a couple of cycles anyway! Its supposed to boost circulation to the uterus, regulate hormones and alleviate stress which all sounds great 😂 Could be worth looking into if you're onto a new cycle! :)

It's been a tough few months with our wee boy's birthday in July there, also found out I had pre-cancerous cells at the end of June and had to hold off TTC until I had a biopsy and have them lasered out...so relieved to see August 😂

Hi ladies. Having a confusing morning. I sometimes get double LH surges so I keep using clearblue ovulation tests after my peak and this morning (CD 16) I got a high. I got a peak on CD 13. But I also feel awful this morning... Sore back, light headed and feeling sick. I've not had my usual CM at time of ovulation this month either.... Anyone think my first ovulation didn't happen and I'm ovulating late?😭🙈

@KerryW87 I do acupuncture as well since two month or so, my last AF was very weird. I don't know if it has anything to do with it though, but it was just... different. Can't really describe it, but having had many AF in my life I know what is off and what not. I take it as a sign that it works.
Sorry to hear about the pre-cancerous cells. I hope everything went well with the laser!

@Arly90 weird... did you ever bbt? That might give you more insight than ovulation tests alone?
