Confused over who is father?

So I had unprotected sex stupidly with my ex on the 21st July, was still bleeding abit but my period started the 18th July. Then slept with my new partner twice not sure on dates but it was between the 24th and 5th august two different times. So got a positive pregnancy test 15th august and it said 1-2 weeks on a clearblue and then the next day it said 2-3 weeks, unsure who it would be too and looking at just having a abortion because under no circumstances could I have a child with ex partner. Can anyone help me please?

I would say it’s virtually impossible it is your ex partner’s baby if you DTD day 3 of your cycle although there is always a small chance. How long are your cycles usually?

A shorter cycle does make it more likely you ovulate earlier which would make the chances of it being ex’s baby slightly higher. Have you ever tracked ovulation before to know when in your cycle it happens? My cycle is around 27 days and I ovulate on day 11/12. In theory sperm can live for 5 days so you can get pregnant if you DTD in the 5 days up to ovulation. You are not going to get a guaranteed answer without doing a DNA test I’m afraid.

Yeah I did think this which was why I posted, thanks for your help though, I do agree it more than likely is 2nd person but I think for the chance it’s not worth it!
