Lying about LMP for Early scan after 6 chemicals

Hey everyone do Iv got another BFP since 8dpo and now 13dpo.
After so many chemicals& miscarriages (posted below) I'm so worried and can't chill out at all :(
My last period was July 8th after two months no period after the last miscarriage in may.

So my question is should I lie to midwife and say my lMP was the miscarriage bleed on 17th may and that's I'm not sure when I ovulated to try and get a early scan for reassurance or would this be wrong?

I just feel so stressed and could do with a little reassurance:(

The issue is I’m not sure you’d see anything this early ? I may be wrong but a hcg reading over a few days may be a better indicator, to show doubling. I’m sorry you’re so anxious , I’ve had multiple mmc and a chemical and understand the terror.

Littlemissnc · 13/08/2021 09:59

That looks like a strong line btw

Elsie2021 · 13/08/2021 10:53

Completely understand why you are considering doing that but unfortunately I don’t think it would be worth it as before 6 weeks they will not be able to see anything and it may well just cause you more stress!

I know how horrible it is! But I think you will just have to wait it out unfortunately.

Your line looks great though!

DPotter · 13/08/2021 11:02

Elsie has it in one.

Thank you guys! I think it was a spare of the moment thing and I'm better of to wait. Just so nervous I'm not sure I can handle it again. I'm taking multiple tests a day but I just can't stop 🙄xx

Look I get you're anxious but taking multi test per day is feeding the anxiety not reducing it.

Take one in the morning when you get up and then one just before bed - if you really must, but really once a day is best

Then for the rest of the day - distraction is the way forward. If you're not working - go for a walk, do some yoga, watch trashy day time TV.

Emmelina · 13/08/2021 15:43

A scan wouldn’t be reassuring this early, to be honest. At this stage it’s a blob, there will be no reassuring heartbeat until about 6 weeks.
I do understand and sympathise - I’ve a long history of mc myself… but this won’t help you Flowers

Littlemissnc · 13/08/2021 16:21

At the beginning of my current pregnancy I couldn’t sleep with anxiety. I was getting up at 2 or 3am to do a repeat frer then couldn’t sleep after as kept checking every 10 mins the darkness. I think I even woke my dh in tears one night and made him look at the day b4 compared with that day.
I had done the same thing the previous pregnancy and was a nervous wreck after 20 or so days of constant testing
So I made a decision and stopped after three days. I asked my clinic to do a hcg test every two days instead which showed doubling ( much better than poas) it really helped calm me down by transferring the obsessive testing to something only my clinic had control over. I advise to do similar. You need to reduce anxiety in pregnancy not encourage it through multiple testing 💐

I really suggest you get hcg blood test to see what your betas are doing. Tests can be lighter depending on urine concentration, tests can be different dye strengths etc
I know how hard it is, big hugs

Littlemissnc · 17/08/2021 10:29

@Jely123 how are you doing?

Hey that test looks good! So the fainter one must have been an issue with test/urine dilution. I used to do frers too. Although expensive they give clearer line development ( since I know you will keep testing!) I really hope this is it for you

Miscarriages and chemicals are different. If you've had more than 3 miscarriages you should be referred for recurrent miscarriage and get some tests done. Sorry for your loss.

Queenofsupreme · 25/08/2021 08:53

My chemical got counted in my 3 mcs for referral. It’s worth going to the gp and starting the ball rolling. I’m sorry to hear your news

So what's the line between it being a chemical or miscarriage ? Most have been 4-5 weeks apart from this one and my first witch was 7 weeks. X

whosaidtha · 26/08/2021 12:20

@Jely123 chemical is anything before 5weeks. Miscarriage is after 5 but before 23weeks.

MrsBumm · 26/08/2021 12:32

i think you're having a lot of chemicals. In my own experience of infertility chemical pregnancy was part of it so I think you should push to be referred to a recurrent mc centre.

There are things like blood thinners that might help and are relatively low intervention as a first step, if indicated by hormone and blood clotting tests. But you need a doctor to help.

Thank you.
So Iv had 2 miscarriages 5 chemicals.
Gp has just referred me to a specialist so I guess that's good news.
