Cerelle mini pills after birth/c section. Any experience with this?

I got this in the hospital after our boy was born one and a half weeks ago. The midwife told me i shpuld start before the baby turns to 3 weeks, but i still got some concerns with it...i was on pills before the pregnancy, but now im afraid of a couple of things...the biggest is if i start take them my milk gonna change because of the hormones and the baby wont want it anymore...and the weight gain scares me too, as i gained some kgs during the pregnancy, more wont be that great 😅 but mostly the breastfeeding im worried about. Any this kind of bad experience with this pills? Many thanks

I never had any issues with weight gain with Cerelle, if that's any help. And the midwife wouldn't suggest it if wasn't suitable while breast feeding. What I would say is that the big plus with any type of contraceptive pill is that you are in complete control. If you find it doesn't suit you for any reason you can stop taking it at any time.

I’ve never had any weight gain issue but after having my baby and going back on cerelle my bleeding wouldn’t stop until I changed pill after 8 months. Apparently cerelle can cause erratic bleeding after pregnancy which nobody told me until I asked to change

I used Cerelle with no issues from about 6 weeks post partum and I EBF my son without any supply problems. No weight gain issues, I'm actually lighter now than I was pre pregnancy but just not as physically fit because I haven't bothered getting back into exercise!!
