Can you ovulate with a small amount of remaining hcg

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has any information about ovulation and periods when you still have residual hcg left from a mc?

I have looked through so much on the internet and have found contradictory info on this. Some say you can't ovulate until hcg is zero but then others say hcg can stimulate ovulation and some people inject it for these reasons.

I had a mmc 9 weeks ago and have less that 20 hcg in my blood (after a bloody test 2 weeks ago). I also had a bleed which I thought was a period 2 weeks ago. I'm just trying to figure out where I am in my cycle. I'm still getting very very faint positive pregnancy tests too.

Anyone able to clarify this? Eg anyone gotten pregnant or know they have definitely ovulated whilst still having hcg? I just want to know when I can get back to TTC!

I ovulated after MC with very faint lines still on a FRER. My understanding is you can ovulate at hcg under 10

If you are still getting positive tests after 9 weeks you are either pregnant again or probably have retained product and should contact epu/midwife to get this sorted.

Not necessarily @spookycookies. I had them still 9 weeks afterwards. I was scanned at 6 weeks after suegery (still strong positives) and nothing was found, they said my hcg was just taking a long time to drop. However, @chasingtherainbow1 I do agree that if you havent been scanned you should be

@TheDaydreamBelievers ok maybe I'll be under 10 now as I was 20 two weeks ago. Fingers crossed it is soon as I'm fed up of it. Just want to draw a line under it.

@spookycookies yeah it's definitely not retained product or a new pregnancy as I've been scanned after 3 weeks and had my bloods done weekly which have shown that my levels are falling but just slowly. Hopefully they will hit zero in the next week or so!
