Period 5 days late, very faint line?

Hi all,

I have 2 stepsons, a bio daughter and a bio son all under 10. My youngest is only 18 months and our lives are very loud and busy!

I have a copper IUD which I've had in for around 9 months now and it was working great. However I'm currently 5 days late for my period, experiencing nausea and intense cramping. I've had some brown and red spotting but no real period yet.

I had my covid jab not long ago so I was hoping it had messed up my cycle. But I took a pregnancy test this morning and there were 2 lines!

I'm really hoping it's an evap line as I don't want to have to make a very difficult decision. We are not in a position to have another baby.

Looks like an evap line to me but I'm not an expert. Did it appear in the right time frame? 5 days late and so faint .. could be a chemical pregnancy? Or maybe you ovulated later because of the jab and you're not actually "late" IYSWIM?

I'd say that's a line.

I think it's difficult to tell, but it looks like it's got colour and I think it's a link. On those Internet tests, mines were so difficult to see, I would advise a FRER to be sure.

Thanks for your help lovlies I got a negative test this morning and my period showed up this afternoon so I think it must have been an evap line - definitely the scariest one I've ever seen, although it showed up after 15 minutes so not in the time frame it was meant to.
