just been to see the gp, saw a different one this time and she agreed to refer me to Liverpool Womens Hospital straight away. her exact words were "mr b doesnt seem able to help you, so it would be negligient of me to deny you specialist care"

so in 6w i could be seeing one of the leading recurrent miscarriage specialists at a top clinic. feel so muych more positive now!

OP posts:

NorthernLurker · 27/11/2007 13:37

lissie - I'm so pleased to see this - I met someone recently who LWH helped when she and her dh had lost 7 - I thought of you and will be praying that you get good news - she couldn't say enough about the wonderful care they had.

lissielewzealand · 27/11/2007 16:52

really? im so excited. this is the most positive ive felt for months! what did they find with her?

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 27/11/2007 18:01

i didn't go into too much detail with her - first time we'd met - but basically she had participated in a trial and been given steroids. Really sounds like LWH are the business - you know we'll all be rooting for you don't you?

sparklesandwine · 27/11/2007 18:14

just seen this thats fab news for you and dh lissie, its good to hear your feeling more positive

how's things? i haven't been on mn all that much recently with one thing or another taking over in rl

lissielewzealand · 27/11/2007 18:18

OP posts:
sparklesandwine · 27/11/2007 18:25

thats good a little less pressure on you there, i'm sure you'll catch up soon enough don't wear yourself out thought will you!

all ok here thanks, i've got a nasty cold and 2 younger boys have been ill too but seem to be getting over it now thankfully! just thinking i need to get them to bed and have an early night, but i need to wrap some xmas pressies to send over to my sister and i've been putting it off as i can't arsed but think i should try and pull my finger out or my neice and nephew might not get their xmas pressies and then i would feel guilty!

lissielewzealand · 27/11/2007 18:27

i need to wrap mine but really dont have the energy. where do they live?

OP posts:
sparklesandwine · 27/11/2007 18:37

They live in Cyprus so don't see them very often , my mum is over there at the mo and is staying for Christmas and my brother and his family will be in Finland all Christmas so i won't see any of my family

I wouldn't normally start wrapping just yet, as its quite early but i just want to make sure they get their presents, plus its DS2's brithday in a couple of weeks and i need to wrap his presents too - its all go here!

i'll wrap for you lissie i love wrapping

lissielewzealand · 27/11/2007 18:52

Lissie that great news i really hope they sort something out for you. My computer is playing up I did try and email you the other day but not sure if it made it. It wont let send any messages on face book either not sure why. I am sure will both get on those antenatal threads one day!
