BFP, 10dpo and CRAMPING

Hey gals

I got a bfp on a frer yesterday which got slightly darker this morning (10dpo) . I took a digital cheapy from home bargains this afternoon which said not pregnant?

I've also been cramping towards my left ovary. Has anyone had this before? Or can shed some light?

Oh no 😭

I did a Poundland cheapie (it's not a early sign one) I'm 14dpo and it's faint! more faint than the frer I did at 12dpo! I hope this isn't a chemical and hoping it's because the Poundland one is less HGV sensitive.X

I had terrible cramping with my first pregnancy. I vividly remember being doubled over in Aldi and having to leave my husband to do the shopping while I got a taxi home! I had terrible period pains so wasn’t concerned but then three days later, still no period so I took a test.
She was a very healthy pregnancy.

@ALD93 it could be because the pound land one is less sensitive. Does it come with a leaflet that tells you how many miu/ml (how sensitive) it is. I'm sure I've read a frer is 6.3 other tests range from 25-35 I think. My frer is the same as yesterday's no dye stealers from me 🤷‍♀️ I know I need to stop testing but I need the reassurance but so far I'm getting none and sending myself into endless worry

@AllTheUsernamesAreAlreadyTaken oh thats positive to hear. I'm hoping the wee bean is getting extra comfy in there and that's why I've been cramping although it couldve been constipation 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂 xx

@ALD93 I had the same.. strong line with one brand and a faint line with another... it was the sensitivity of the test. I'm sure it's the same for you. X

My AF is due tomorrow. I feel like I can't believe I'm pregnant until I miss it. I'm having some twinges that feel like it's in my cervix region. Have you guys had twinges??

My hubby is also asking why I am still testing daily. I think I just love seeing the lines after months of staring at tests, holding them up to the light, opening them up.. etc 🤣

I've just checked and the cheapie is 25 and the frer is 6.3 and clear blue is 10. Explains it all.

I still can't stop testing either. My period is also due tommorow, I hope to god she doesn't show. I'm the exact same... don't believe I'm pregnant until I've missed it. But I have 0 of the symptoms I usually get before my period, usually I have cramps by now, I don't have cramps I've got twinges and my boobs are sooo sore.

When I got pregnant with my son I didn't have a single symptom until I was 6 weeks then I had morning sickness until 22 weeks!

Got my dye stealer and look at that line progression. 2 days late for my AF now and it's starting to seem real 😍

@ald93 that's a fab test 🥰 I'm doing not too bad. Did a CB digital weeks indicator and got a 2-3 so happy with that. I'll get some more and retest next week to hopefully see a 3+ . I've only ever seen a 3+ in my successful pregnancy. I've got no symptoms except my boobs hurting after being in a bra all day and some very mild cramping, how are you?

I'm 2 days late for my period and have low cramps today so I'm sooo paranoid that she's on her way, but I got that extreme dark line this morning so my heads all over the place. My boobs are also sore that's the only two symptoms I've got! I keep getting waves of nausea too but then it goes.

Really hoping it's not my AF on the way!

When I put my dates into NHS calculator it's telling me I'm 4 weeks and my due date is between 3-6th April 2022, I have irregular periods sometimes 26 days sometimes 28 so that's why the variation in dates. Guess I wouldn't find out for certain until a scan.

How does it work in your area? When do you tell your GP that your pregnant? After you've missed your full AF? When is yours due? X

@ALD93 so I phoned the doc yesterday regarding my constipation and asked about the midwife situ (it's changed since I had DS). She said to phone whenever to the midwife as you self refer. I said I'd wait until I had a private scan and then phone as I want to make sure the pregnancy is viable. She said that was fine 🤷‍♀️ I don't think there is any rush as they don't see you until 8/9 wks. Mine was due on the 24th so technically 4 days late now. Is that right 🤷‍♀️ I have no idea 🤣 I'm just hoping she stays away. What about you?

Hi ladies! I'm so happy for us! My Af is now late too. I have only had sore boob but different from pre af soreness... more of a heavy fullness instead. Is yours the same? I had a few waves of nausea a few days back but nothing since. I'm waiting for hubby to come home so I can run out and get a digital test... I'm hoping it will say 3 weeks + 🤞🏼. Xx

I'm going to go to the early pregnancy unit at 6 weeks (if I am lucky to get that far) and get a scan.. they do a walk in service here and it's so reassuring to see everything in the right place and progressing normally. I had a missed miscarriage a few years ago and went to the scan and there was nothing there at all. I'm so nervous. I knew I wanted this baby but I didn't realise quite how much until I saw the BFP. 😊

Yeh @Outofreachfornow I have the exact same symptoms. Let me know how you get on with your CB weeks indicator 🤞 thats fab about the walk in service!!

I took a digital last week when from my dates I think I would have been 4+1 and it showed "pregnant 2-3" which is 4-5 weeks pregnant right which makes sense. Although I used midday urine not fmu as it advised. I have one my I am going to take tomorrow when I should be 5 weeks and hope that it says 3+. How many weeks and days are you both assuming you are? I have been feeling ok... noticing that I have been a little more tired over the last day or so and boobs are full and sore. I also sometimes have a heavy feeling in my uterus area. I hope you are all well xx

I agree about the two lines it's so nice to see.

I also took a digital on Tuesday when I was 4 weeks exactly and it said 2-3 so on this Tuesday I should be 5 weeks so will do another digital and hopefully it says 3+

I think if it does I will stop testing as the expense is getting out of control. I've told myself it'll be my last test or I'll just torture myself.
