Going onto month 12 of ttc…

Hi everyone!

I just came on here for a bit of a rant and hoping to hear some nice success stories from people ttc for this long or even longer!! I do use opks but do have the odd month break from them, I’ve tried just being relaxed about it and tried proper timing throughout the month. I take folic acid with vitamin d and yet I seem to be getting no closer to seeing a bfp! It’s got me down this month so would love to hear some positive stories.

I also know a lot of others are in the same boat with nobody to talk to (me included) so if anybody wants to drop me a message or fancies a WhatsApp just to rant or have a chat. Please feel free x

Hey @SunshineS1 I can't offer a success story but I'm in the same boat as you. No hint of a bfp for me either and it's been 18 months since I stopped my pill! Here for a chat also🥰 x

Hey, I am in about month 17 now I think, hitting the 12 month mark was hard so I feel for you. I sadly don't have a success story to share yet but I did have a chemical 2 months ago which although it was horrible to go through, has given me some hope after nothing for so many months! It can and will happen for us! ❤️

Have you spoken to your GP at all? After 12 months I was able to get some blood tests done, which came back normal so was some reassurance at least, although they won't test my husband or offer any treatment yet.

Aw it's such an awful feeling month after month isn't it!! I'm so sorry you haven't gotten your bfp yet either. I actually came off the pill June last year and thankfully my cycles came back perfectly normal and pretty much straight away so its baffling me! Honestly I'm glad we can all talk to each other or I'd go crazy! X

I'm so sorry about your chemical, i hope you've managed to get back to ttc okay?

I've not been to the gp yet, I do have a history with an overactive thyroid but I had blood tests done in Feb and everything came back stable and the gp said I was all okay to carry on ttc. Honestly it's hard, I didn't realise how long it would take!!

How are you coping after 17 months?! Xx

@Nora11 sorry about your chemical ❤️ hope you get your sticky bean soon! We've been trying the same amount of time 🙈 I'm so sick of it all!! X

@SunshineS1 this forum has been so good for keeping me sane lol I'm currently cd28 and no hint of a +opk either. 🙈 where are you at in your cycle? Xx

I conceived my son in our 12th cycle. I had a HSG that cycle and I think it cleared my tubes of any scarring from my Endo as no other cause was found for us struggling. I had normal LH/FSH/Progesterone etc results and my DH's SA was excellent

I'm on day 3 of af at the min, going to try relaxing this month and not use opks. Maybe just try every other day throughout the cycle and see what happens!! I don't even bother buying pregnancy tests anymore because af
comes exactly when expected every month😂

Have you got anyone close to you you can speak to about it all? Xx
