TTC with endometriosis and adenomyosis!

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else here is TTC with endo and adenomyosis. I have been diagnosed with endo for over 10 years now but currently stage 4 with an emdometrioma too. I have extensive scar tissue and adhesions and have just been diagnosed with adenomyosis. Despite this my gynae consultant has given me to go ahead to try for a baby. I already have 2 sons and know this may not work out for me. Was just seeing if anyone was in a similiar situation or perhaps here some success stories.

I was diagnosed with both. Like you, my endometriosis was also stage iv. Have you had a laparoscopy? Assuming you have had one. I felt hopeless after my diagnosis, but the doctors were very positive about restoring fertility. Three months after my laparoscopy I was able to conceive, albeit with IVF (I was 30 and fed up with trying naturally at that point). Good luck!

@MissEDashwood19 thank you for your reply. I have had 3 laparotomies with the last one being 2 years ago to excise some endo and remove a 14cm simple cyst. I have concieved 3 times with endo and have my two boys, so I know it's possible and I'm sure it will be for you too. The adeno makes me really nervous for some reason. @Theosmommy2011 I was lucky and have a child, but would like more children. I too was frightened by the adeno diagnosis, but my specialist said a lot of women of childbearing age have it and the endometriosis was more of a problem. I don't know what you've been told. How long have you been trying for your third child? May I ask what the gap was between all of your pregnancies? I don't know how long I should wait before trying to get pregnant again Xx

Well they have said I'm fine to try but I know it can cause a higher risk of miscarriage and premature rupture of membranes. I lost my first at 21 weeks so really anxious about that. I have carried all 3 with endo so that seems to worry me less. My eldest is 9 and youngest will be 6 this year. I waited until my eldest was around 3 to concieve xx

I haven't started trying yet. I'm currently on cerazette but will be stopping over the next week and letting nature take it's course xx
