Conceived DC1 four years ago age 36 - literally first go - now have been trying near on 18 months with 2 MMCs for DC2
I know I"m not a spring chicken and have been taking all the supplements in It Starts with the Egg but to no avail.
Hormones all look ok bar Free Androgens at low end of normal and AMH not amazing but not awful for age- around 8PMOL. I'm not at all overweight, I exercise and have given up most caffeine and have one alcholic drink a week.
How could my body given up the ghost completely with the space of a couple of years? We're not entitled to NHS investigations given only 2 miscarriages and one child but is there anything else I should be getting checked or can do? Can I get anything on the NHS to limit impact of cost?
Am going to do DHEA-S test and have ordered some off internet to take if low. Is it worth giving it until end of year and then potentially opting for donor eggs? Or worth pursuing IVF - although loath to do due to cost and relatively low success rate at my age
