If you've ever conceived on your first or second try, how long did it take you with your next one?

Pretty much immediately each time. Very lucky, I know.

First time both times too.

Same.

Second time took about 3 months

Two cycles for the second time.

It was first try with my second DC and four months with my third.

But it had taken 11 months to conceive DC1. Conceiving so quickly with DC2 was a bit of a shock!

It took us 10 months to conceive DD1 @DramaAlpaca. Currently considering TTC2 - we’re not quite ready yet but if it takes another 10 months I want to get going - but this is my big fear !!

@Dollywilde I couldn't believe it, especially as I was still breastfeeding. There's only a 16 month gap between them. Best of luck to you!

DC1 was conceived in the third month of trying and DC2 and DC3 in the first month.

First try each time (3dc).

I conceived ds1 as soon as I came off the Pill, ds2 was the third month.

18 months DC1. First time DC2.

9m for DC1, the 1m for DC2. Was very shocked as I assumed it would take a similar amount of time. DC1 was only 17m old, we had a second baby at the point that I had expected to just be getting pregnant 😂 worked out well though. Only 2y2m between my two and they’re very close.

DC1 - first month
Conceived again on first month of trying but had a miscarriage
DC2 - second month of trying

DS1 - first month (aged 32)
DS2 - third month (aged 37)

1st - 2nd month
2nd - 1st month

H no 1 / Baby 1 - 1yr

H no 2 / Baby 2 - 1st time Baby 3 - 1st time

DC1 - first month

DC2 - 10 months - I was shocked it took so long but still within the normal range apparently.

We took 6 months of meticulous timing with DD1. Pregnant with number two after a random underwhelming shag when we both had a cold but felt we ought to

1st- first month
2nd-13th month (although did have a 9 week miscarriage within that year, although the baby didn't develop past about 5 weeks)
3rd- first or second month (think we started too late in first month for it to count), 11 weeks now still in shock!!

1st month for all four of my pregnancies (two sadly ended in miscarriage).

First try each time for the first two, then in my second marriage, a year of intervention for no 3.

Over a year for DS1, was just starting fertility investigations.

DS2 was conceived on the one night we didn’t use protection in years.

No link at all in my case.
