so....I'm currently pregnant, I'm 23 weeks today. I have this scarring on my abdomen, which I know is from my sayana press contraceptive injection 2½ years ago.
my midwife however is convinced its bruising on my bump and is worried at every appointment. its been there ever since I had my injections. I've never been concerned about it because I'm covered in scars from different accidents and surgeries (I'm extremely accident prone) so scars just don't bother me.
my question is, has anyone else experienced scarring like this from the sayana press contraceptive which is the one you do yourself from home. the picture isn't the best quality. it has made my skin really thin in that area which bruising doesn't do.
how can I convince my midwife that it is something I've always had.
