Am I having a chemical? Paranoid and need reassurance

Title says it all.
I found out I am pregnant yesterday and took these two Sainsbury’s tests a few hours apart. It’s clear that the second test I took is considerably lighter than the first. I’m scared to take another in case it’s even lighter (but I probably will bcos I have zero self control :)
What do you girls think? I know I sound crazy but I’m just so scared I’m gonna lose it :(

Firstly congratulations
Secondly I really wouldn't worry about this at all. The don't look hugely different, and I really think any difference is probably down to hormone present varying according to how long you went without peeing prior to testing/ natural flux through the day.

I can understand it must be hugely anxiety inducing but the tests are mainly designed to give you a yes or no not to monitor the pregnancy properly.

Testing repeatedly won't change what actually happens ultimately- which odds are will be a healthy pregnancy

HCG is always stronger in your urine earlier in the day, so that is probably why it was slightly lighter hours later x

Afraid that's not always true @SLT90 , many women secrete higher levels of hormone later in the day/evening

The hormone doubles every 2-3 days so you wouldn't see a change in the line, even between days sometimes mine had little progression but all is fine (I've had multiple chemicals so am extra worried) but yours look fine. It was probably lighter because you're early your tribe was probably more diluted and not much of a hold. I always get strong lines in the evening after restricting my liquid intake and a good 4-5 hour hold.

Thank you everyone! I tried holding my pee for longer and I got darker lines so gonna stop worrying now haha.
