Morning! Has anyone used the Natural Cycles method when trying to conceive? What did you think?
I've seen a lot of reviews about it being helpful to prevent pregnancy but not so much for when trying to conceive.
We ttc earlier this year but as we're getting married in April (postponed from 2020!) we had a pretty short window of opportunity and unfortunately weren't successful.
I use the ovulation strips previously but found it difficult to do them at the same time everyday and also found myself drinking less so not to dilute the results which felt like it defeated the object really. We'll start trying again after the wedding but thought I'd use the next 9 months to really get to learn my cycle. I think it's still getting back to normal after being on the pill for so long (stopped taking it in December).
Also, I'm thinking of having a fertility MOT so we know what we're dealing with ASAP (I'm 36 and he's 44) does anyone know if I go privately for a fertility MOT can I still use the NHS for any treatment (excluding IVF of course). Thanks!
