Anyone with PCOS have a few attempts at ovulating each cycle and can give me hope?

Woken up this morning to a nice big temp drop after feeling sure my body was finally going to make it over the line and ovulate on CD 24. Loads of EWCM, positive opk but nope, looks like a failed attempt. Has anyone had this in their cycle and gone on to conceive? I’m guessing my body will have another attempt in a day or so, but will that ovulation even be viable when my body is clearly struggling to get over the line?

I’m a healthy weight, taking conceive plus ovulation support which has d-chiro myo inositol in it, not really sure what else I can do to help my body over the line.

I never did any of this but did have two failed rounds of IVF. I went on to conceive naturally twice. Each time i was doing a lot of exercise at a challenging level but other than that I wasn't doing anything special and had all but resigned myself to not conceiving. I was actually really hung over!

Hey @SkeletonSkins
I've started taking conceive plus this month after trying myo-inositol + Vit D + folic acid for the last 3 months.

I didn't notice any big changes in those 3 months so I feel like I'm in the same boat.

Started taking temps too this month and have had some weird peaks just in the last few days!

How long have you been TTC?

hi @AStar98, I came off the pill in Jan and have been tracking my cycles since then but this is the first month actively trying. I think I actually ovulated on Wednesday after a few false starts so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi @SkeletonSkins My cycles were always characterised by failed ovulation attempts but I usually got there in the end (or so I thought). After a year of trying I had tests and scans done at the fertility clinic. They found I had PCOS and a very high AMH level (64 pmol/L) which indicated very high egg reserves. My fertility consultant assumes I have not been ovulating all this time Sad.

I have been taking the Conceive + Ovulation support and the Fertility support pills together and my cycles (the past 3, including this one) have been much shorter (around 32 days long) and I appear to have ovulated between days 14-18. I'm still not sure if I am actually ovulating (I live in hope!), or if my eggs are mature enough, but my temp has increased significantly around 'ovulation' and I get loads of EWCM etc. The consultant has offered me Metformin and Clomid, which I hope to start soon.

I have this multiple surges issue too. I have conceived once (on CD 33 of a cycle) but sadly lost the baby at 12 wks. Now back to trying again with my long cycles!. Unfortunately conceive plus didny do much for me but has worked well for others
