What does it mean if the control line is fainter than the test line?

Hey everyone,

For the last couple of days I took pregnancy tests which looked like the one in the picture - control line fainter than test line.

What does this mean? I'm currently 5 weeks + 1 day and had early miscarriage in February

What does it mean if the control line is fainter than the test line?

It just means your hcg is high now and so it's stealing the dye from the control line. No need to keep testing, always a great sign 😊

My 2 dye stealers have resulted in my 2.5yo DS sleeping upstairs and the baby cooking nicely in my tummy currently 19weeks along - Congratulations and best of luck with your pregnancy!

I know, I guess I'm just scared that I will lose this one, too, that's why I keep testing. I need to stop torturing myself.

Totally understand you. I had a MC on 1st May then got pregnant again and tested like crazy then they began to faid and I ended up having a pregnancy unknown location thought to be eptopic 15th June and still recovering. So I know the urge. I never had a dye stealer as they call it. I can understand your worries and sorry for your loss. Your test is a great indication of good progression 😊
