Hi ladies

Just need some advice please . So I currently have implant in , which was due out 6th June 2021 , I have booked myself in to get it removed but earliest appointment was July . My periods are irregular. But can I still get pregnant or am I still covered . I just want to hear other people stories on their experience with the implant , I had my period 3 weeks ago but I was constantly coming off snd back on 2 days later but was spotting, haven't had came on since . Please no negative comments

Which implant? Most that rely on hormones as well as the physical implant last longer than their advertised time limit

Nexplanon implant

You're more than likely still covered, the 3 years is the time they're confident of advertised protection. It can last longer though, I wouldn't rely on it though if you're sure you don't want a baby,
Also consider your weight/size. There's some (limited) evidence it wears of quicker in women over 70kg according to my midwife

I've had this in for 3 years . I am small and weighing 9stone , so it's 3 late coming out I haven't had my cycle yet . So was just clueless if can still get pregnant or not or if im covered
