Broody but nervous … when did you feel ready?

Just that really. I am mummy to a gorgeous DS 21 months. I have loved every moment of motherhood so far and I’m getting the ovary flutters now when I think about giving him a sibling.

But I’m scared at the idea of change, of going back to the relentless 24 cycle of feeding, changing, newborn days, especially with a boisterous toddler in tow.

We were lucky to fall quickly when TTC with DS1, but who knows how long it will take next time round (my cycles are not the most regular and my periods only last a couple of days now, different times before my pregnancy)

Can anyone relate and advise when they knew they were ready?

I'm in a similar position. My DS is 12 months and we conceived him very quickly. I'm not broody in the slightest (wasn't with DS either) but we've started TTC again as want to give him a sibling. I'll be 37 in a few months so feel like it's now or never as I don't want to miss my chance.

As for feeling ready, I personally don't think I ever will but I do know I'd regret not trying x
