Assumed chemical pregnancy... what (if anything) do I do now?

So after trying for a few months I got my first ever BFP on Thursday. I took another test on Friday and it was also positive. I took one Saturday and the line was so faint it was barely visible, I then started to spot. Took another test Saturday, no line visible. Took last two tests today, one with diluted just in case of hook effect - both negative.

So im assuming chemical pregnancy. It was too early to have had any sort of appointment, but what do I do? Do I tell my doctor? It feels weird to just do nothing.

Also - I know it was never a baby, this happens a lot, but it really hurts, doesnt it.

@ownedbycats

I’ve had this happen 3 times in the last 6 months.

It sucks especially if it was your first positive pregnancy test ever. You get so excited to then have it taken away!

But I’m told there’s every chance you’ll go on to have another chance. I’m trying again this month for the 5th cycle hoping it’s a lucky month.

Hang in there and focus on the new month Smile
