Hi ladies,

Thought I'd start a new support thread for those of us who have got/had AF this month and are still TTC. Please let me know if I've missed anyone out.

Here's to this month's journey being full of baby dust for all of us!

Its only my first month of bbt so I'm probably doing it wrong, but its only 3dpo and my temperature has dropped again.

It went up slightly post ovulation and now its back down to the level it was a couple of days before ovulation.

I'm hoping I'm just doing it wrong, rather than there being something wrong with my ovulation

Are you putting it under your tongue and then turning it on?

I'm hoping its just to do with the temperature of the room or something. I do get cold easily and my partner constantly opens and closes windows so maybe that is impacting things too

@Skincareaddict sounds like you are doing it right then 😬 I do mine half asleep! I usually wake up around 6am when the dog wakes up my Husband to let him out, take my temp and then go back to sleep. Mine thermometer remembers the last temp, so input it when I wake up a bit later

@Charliecircle11 ooh which thermometer do you have?

I think I must be coming down with something as I've been sitting in the office with my coat on all morning and keep feeling nauseous! This will explain my temperature dip

I use the natural cycles app, only on my second month using it but so far so good! Bless you, it does sound like you may be coming down with something.

I don't remember being this giddy before? I guess cos I knew I wanted one, but DH wasn't 100% on a second so it's like a surprise party being told we can try again 🤣
Ds1 was first cycle (first time I think!) But know it might be a totally different story now.

Responding to a pp: I had the Pfizer jabs, my cycle lengthened by about 3 or 4 days after the first jab, but no change with 2nd jab.

@Charliecircle11 are you starting to notice a pattern between month 1 and 2 or is it still early days? I've been doing some research on BBT and I'm not sure if it will work for me - I always have a restless sleep and get up every 2-3 hours to pee or drink water. So I'm not going to stress too much about BBT because my poor quality sleep probably impacts my temperature.

Welcome @nervousdave .. do you know how many dpo you are?

@Skincareaddict no pattern yet but in my first month it managed to confirm ovulation which is good. Yeah you have to have at least 4 hours solid sleep to get an accurate reading, otherwise my app discounts it. Do you do ovulation tests as well? I use both and my lines have got progressively darker over the last week, so I know I am gearing up to it

Possibly, some people don't get their BFPs until a bit later. I'm also 11dpo and BFN, unfortunately I reckon AF is going to arrive tomorrow.

@Skincareaddict if I go by the flo predictor then I am 3dpo today, but another app said my most fertile time was a couple days before, and another one was the day after. Flo is the one I've tracked on for longest though.

@Charliecircle11 no I don't use ovulation sticks yet - I'm adding in a 'thing' every couple of cycles so as not to pressure myself too much. Ovulation kits are on my plan for August onwards but hopefully I will be pregnant by then!

@Nervousdave Flo seems good. Will you test before AF is due or do you wait until after AF is due

@Skincareaddict I completely understand, that’s the best way to be.

@Skincareaddict with my last pregnancy I had a negative test before a holiday, drank and ate a lot, then came home and did another test which was super strong positive. So I'll probably wait til after it's due just I case something similar happens again. I do think the tracker was less accurate last time as I'd only had one period between coil removal and falling pregnant

Hello! Can I join? We started TTC #1 last month and fell pregnant first time, but I sadly miscarried just a week after my BFP. Bleeding has stopped and we are now into my fertile week, praying for another quick BFP and a sticky bean this time 🤞🏼

Ttc number 2 when my current period finishes! Hoping we can share some good news on here I've heard that DTD every other day is recommended, as well as peak days. Any ideas / tips from what has worked for you in the past / friends anyone?

So my app says I ovulated yesterday, I had a positive OPK in the am and then negative in the afternoon, so I am hoping I did. Wish me luck!!!

@HOpeing Last month we DTD the day of positive OPK and the 3 days after and got our BFP, that was first cycle TTC.

I'd love to join you as well.
We're TTC #1 as well and July will be our 6 or 7th month trying. We're both 28 and it's quite difficult getting AF each month ... this is so discouraging. :(

I'm currently on CD8, hoping to ovulate in a few days. Usually my cycles range from 27 to 31, last two being 27 and 29 days. I got a positive ovulation test (cheapie test) on CD15, then AF came on CD29. I have enough tests to test this month as well. Hopefully we all get our two lines soon!! Baby dust to all of you! 🌟

@H0peing remember it only takes one to make it through to get your BFP!

@wineosaurus4 love the name! I've had a couple of glasses of Prosecco tonight during AF before we TTC this month...I know someone who miscarried and then fell pregnant the following month and she now has an amazing little girl so definitely hoping that this is your month! X

6dpo today and feeling very nauseous. Nothing could cause that this early could it? Wondering whether its something I ate 🤢
