Hi everyone, I’m new to Mumsnet and looking for some advice. My story so far is that I’m 32 and we’ve been TTC for 2+ years. At the end of last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and PCOS and referred to a fertility clinic. I’ve been taking metformin since the end of January which had regulated my cycle. I was also given cyclogest (progesterone) due to spotting and a short luteal phase, this was given without blood tests. This month I was told to stop taking the cyclogest and had a blood test 7 days after the static smiley face on clearblue OPK. The bloods came back normal however I have been experiencing spotting from 2dpo to 9dpo then I came on my period. The clinic cannot give any explanation to what is causing this as my progesterone levels are normal. Any insight or advice of what I can do to help with this would be appreciated. We have been referred for IVF but are hopeful to conceive naturally prior to this.
