So my husband has a v v sperm count thanks to childhood cancer. Less than 1 million with less than 1% morphology. We've done two rounds of ivf to save eggs for future children and were meant to be doing a round with fresh transfer this month but got cancelled for non response.

We literally had sex once this month no tracking or anything. We were gonna start the ivf again this week.

Been feeling a bit off the last few days so figured I'd take a test just to check it out of my head.

I don't quite believe it!!! We are both in total shock.

This is fantastic. It gives me a little hope too.

I'm now worried I'm actually 8 weeks and we had all the ivf drugs whilst I was pregnant as my period was super light and late last month. But I took like three tests and they were all stark white last month so I don't think so.

Congratulations, your line on your FRER is very dark, this could still be “normal” as some pregnancies do produce higher levels of HCG, but I would mention it to your clinic and perhaps they will scan you to get a better idea just in case you did fall pregnant earlier than you thought? Also to get a better idea as some tests are time sensitive eg the 12 week scan that looks for genetic abnormalities such as Downs is performed between around 11-14 weeks.

Just had a call from my IVF clinic as had a blood test. My HCG is 29,000!! so would be very high for 4 weeks so they suspect i am actually about 6-7 weeks!

Booked in for a scan next monday!!

Hello all.

Just a little update from me after our slightly shocking natural pregnancy in the middle of IVF.

We had our scan today and saw a lovely strong heartbeat....and then we saw a second lovely strong heartbeat!!! It's twins! they think its non-identical! and they are about 7w and 4days! So i was about 3 weeks when we started the IVF treatment! haha

Absolutely bonkers! We are in total shock
