I am CD9 and just got this.
It's positive I think (from my perspective anyway.
This means my follicular phase is just 9 days and that indicates early menopause and/ or poor egg quality.
I just want to cry.
Anyone else had the same and managed to correct it?

Hey! Do you track ovulation with BBT also? You might find you get a surge on CD9 but not actually ovulate until CD11 which isn't quite so early. I've seen people on here talk about Successfully getting pregnant with a short follicular phase. All is not lost! 🤞I think there's probably some threads on here which cover supplements for short follicular phase

Thanks @kittylau44, No I don't track my temp, maybe I should to get a better idea of my cycle.

Getting your peak on day 9 does not make your follicular phase 9 days as you do not usually ovulate until 24-36 hours later. I usually get positive OPKs for 2 days and get my temp rise the following morning. Often get my first positive OPK on CD9 or 10. Follicular phase on the short side but I did some reading up and wasn’t too concerned. There was plenty of anecdotal evidence on here of people who had conceived no problem. How long is your cycle overall?

People have been finding CoQ10 (supplement you can buy over the counter or on Amazon) has delayed their ovulation so that might be worth a try. I know I've ovulated as early as day 10 before and would prefer to ovulate on day 14. I've only recently added CoQ10 to my supplements so not sure if it works for me yet but worth a try 😃

I have a varying follicular stage, often I would get a positive opk on day 7 or 8. DS1 was conceived first month of trying although DS2 took a lot longer so I'm not sure how much of a factor it is.

I've got horrendous ovulation pain tonight which is allegedly what happens before ovulation so hopefully won't be ovulating until tomorrow Confused
Thankyou for all the helpful replies x

I've been working nights and had awful ovulation pain yesterday and through to last night/ this morning so I'm hoping I've ovulated early morning today on cd11.
