Took an LH instead of HGC

I just need to vent, CD29 and took a test this morning but grabbed the wrong one and got 2 very strong lines straight away before I realised it was an LH test! Rushed and did an HCG (with very little wee) and it has a faint only visible when squinting possible evap line.

I know the only thing to do is wait and see but I feel so much worse for seeing the 2 lines first

@Skybooks I think I see something very faint but it's hard to tell! If you can't wait until tomorrow morning (understandably so), you can try in the afternoon / evening. Don't drink after lunch and hold it for a couple of hours. Some will get a good result with that as well!

Is that one step? They're rubbish. Best cheapy is easy@home if you have one (or frer of you're splashing out!)

Thanks both for your replies I'd love to say I'll teat again in the morning but we all no I'm popping to the loo ever half hour to period spot and I'll do another test when I get home from work!

It was that bloody OPK being so strong lines before I realised my error that's done my head in!

@noodella18 it is a one step, however the OPK this morning was an easy at home which sucks!

I got home and did 1 strip test and felt it looked the same so tried another one step but in a case. I think there is a line but with a MMC at 12 weeks and MC at 5.5 weeks I guess it's too early to hope it's a real line yet.
Defo going to test tomorrow AM with FMU (and probably every day until AF or strong line appears)

Lines on all of those! They will be darker tomorrow!

Whispering congratulations. I see lines on them all. I know it's terrifying after a MMC and a MC but wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Having been in similar circumstances, do you have an EPU you could go to or get referred? Mine self refer but are happy to see those who have a history of miscarriage.

I had a scan at 6 weeks and another booked at 9 weeks purely due to prior miscarriages.

It does take away a lot of the stress leading up to the 12 week scan
