Hello!

First time trying to conceive so this is all brand new! I think I am around 8/9 DPO based on my charts and opk results (I'll post my chart too) and I had a negative on a FRER this morning. Had a few symptoms so now feeling a bit deflated about it. It is our second month trying and charting and we have been a lot more commited to it this month than last, so really thought we might have got it right this time. I know it is still early, but just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or if anyone has any positive reassuring stories of early negative FRERs that went on to become BFPs? Last month I had a FRER that looked almost positive for one day and then negatives after that, so wondering what tests other people are using or if they really are the best about? Thank you!

So I've had some bloodied discharge this evening. Looks like it's another month of TTC for me and DH xx

I haven't checked this thread in ages, but I just thought I'd post an update in case anyone stumbles across it whilst looking for answers...I myself have googled things obsessively and know how frustrating it is when you can't see what happened in the end!

I didn't get a positive last cycle when I started the thread but I got one this morning! I had completely stark white negatives on FRER until the evening of 9DPO when I had a mega squinter that I didn't believe (I even took it out of the casing to see better). Tested the next morning at 10DPO and the line was there again but although I could see it and that it was pink, it was still quite faint and so I still didn't trust it. Anyway this morning at 11DPO I got a darker line that was much more noticeable finally 🙂! I will keep testing the rest of this week to make sure the line gets darker but I'm feeling very positive about it as the difference between yesterday and today is quite significant.

FYI I have had almost no symptoms really, no sore boobs, very very light cramping but nothing different to usual PMS, no nausea or anything. The only thing that was different this month is that I had a temp dip at 7 DPO, and then my temperature spiked again but I wouldn't say it has settled at much higher than it normally is anyway!

Hopefully this will help someone who reads it that is looking for answers about the infamous FRER tests, as I have been for the last few months 🙂.

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting... I am driving myself crazy as I'm trying to figure out whether the line I'm seeing is a pink one or a gray one...

It's soooooo faint but I saw it after 3 mins of testing (using FRER) and I'm currently 10dpo... just wondering what's the likelihood of it being an evap line or an indent (can someone actually explain what that means? Having an indent line?)

Thanks!

mummytoolive · 05/10/2021 12:50

@Millymillymillymillymilly
Hey, so if it came up in 3 mins it's unlikely an evap as they usually come up after the time frame, the only real way to know is to do another test in 48 hours and see if the line is there and darker x

@mummytoolive Thank you! I did look at an untested test just now and there is a line! (I guess this what they called an indent line!) The only way is waiting... which is so hard during the 2WW
