12 DPO Am I out this month?

Hey! I know only time will tell but I feel like someone needs to give me a reality check.

Did a FRER this morning and it was more or less negative. I could see the squintyest line (attached pic edited to make it easier to see what I could see as no other human eyes would be able to see it unedited) but to me I know I'm just trying to see something that's not there..?
I've been ttc for 6 months now and never even seen a shadow of a line so this is unusual for me.
Any words of wisdom for me?

Hey I’m same as you , 12dpo today. Been ttc over a year. Even though I knew it would be negative I poas this morning and BFN. There’s part of me which thinks maybe there’s a chance it wouldn’t show BFP yet but I think majority of people get BFP on frer by this stage 😔. I think I can see a faint line on yours though! Mine was completely white.

It's crap that your feeling the same but at least we are not alone ❤️ That's what it making me think I'm out this month, most people have a decent faint line by this point. I know I should come to terms with it but there's this horrible part of me that's like 'there's still a chance' and I'd just rather not think like that, I just want to move on and look forward!

@naevo just because many will have a decent line at 12dpo, doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. I didn't get my BFP until 15dpo. Some have an early implantation, other a late (like 12dpo). Some hcg levels rise faster, others don't. That's why my advise for everyone is not to test until AF is overdue. At least for me, it's easier not to overthink everything. Yes, there might be a possibility that I will get a BFP at 11dpo, but then it would be a BFP at 15dpo as well.
And this month I caved and tested at 14dpo. Negative. Devestated. But got a BFP in the morning after that day. Don't compare yourself to others, your journey will be unique.

It’s good to hear from pp like @Bundaberg84 who have a positive outcome. I really hope that line develops for you x

@Bundaberg84 your absolutely right and it's what the sane part of my brain is telling me. I've been torturing myself with early testing for a while now and after this month, I'll make an effort to not do it again and wait until af is due. It's just not worth the heartache.

My AF still not come but last test I did at 14dpo negative. Frustrating.

Hey! Sorry about the late reply, I came off the app to try and chill out a bit. (Didn't work too well 😅) currently on cd 22, no idea when I've ovulated so feeling a bit in no mans land. I don't think the laid back approach is for me! How are you getting on?
