When is the best time for sex? Head spinning!

Cycles are around 30 days but can be a day or so either side.

Which day is best for sex? I get different answers on the ovulation calculators online!

I bought a thing I pee-d on every morning from day 7 or so and it would tell me when I was ovulating. I generally started "early" each cycle...around day 10 or something. It shows a little egg on the specific days. Worked for us. Got pregnant quickly each time.

It was a while ago but you put the stick in a little machine. Sure the technology might have changed now.

Can hardly remember. I just had a google to see if I could find the specific machine. I can't find it I'm afraid. It was about 20 years ago and I am sure the technology is better now. (And sorry if I have suggested something out of your price range.)
We were lucky as we got pregnant quite quickly so it didn't turn out to be too expensive to buy a months supply of sticks.
It usually showed I was fertile from around day 10 to day 13. I simply started counting from the first day of my proper period, rather than counting every 28 days if you see what I mean. I seem to recall hearing some people have different average cycles eg some usually have 27 day cycles, some are on 31 day cycles.

Every other day I've read covers all eventualities!

Every other day once your period is finished. Has worked 3 times for us.

We just did every other day and fell the first month (appreciate how astoundingly lucky we were).

My periods were 29 to 32 days, we dtd every other day from day 9 to 20. I'm currently pregnant with DC3 who could have only be conceived on day 8 (6 days before my app says ovulation should be) as husband was otherwise away

@tigerbread20 what do you mean day 8? As in you had sex on day 8 and that worked? Or you did it says 9 to 20?

We can only do it on days 10 and 16 this month because of work :(

I got pregnant with DS on day 5 and Dd on day 9 (24 day cycle).
